Privacy Policy

SnapWhale Tennis (“the App”) is operated by Frostbit Ventures Oy (“we”, “our”, or “us”). This Privacy Policy describes how information is handled when you use the App.
By using the App, you acknowledge and accept this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We do not collect personal data from users of the App.
- The App does not require user registration or account creation.
2. Local Data Storage
All data created within the App, such as tennis match logs, is stored locally on your device only.
We do not access, collect, transmit, or store this data on our servers.
You are solely responsible for managing and deleting any data stored on your device.
If you enable the optional Google Drive backup feature in the Premium version, a copy of your App data is also stored in your personal Google Drive as described in Section 3.
3. Google Drive Backups
The Premium version of the App offers an optional backup feature that stores a copy of your App data (match logs and player profile photos) in your personal Google Drive account.
- This feature is off by default and only activates if you sign in with your Google account and enable it.
- Backups are stored in a hidden, app-private area of your own Google Drive (the “application data folder”) that only the App can access. We use Google’s drive.appdata permission, which does not give the App access to any of your other Google Drive files.
- Backup data is transferred directly between your device and your Google account. We do not access, collect, receive, or store this data on our servers, and we do not share, sell, or use it for advertising or any other purpose.
- You can disable the feature at any time by signing out within the App. You can revoke the App’s access to your Google account at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions, and delete stored backups via Google Drive’s settings (“Manage apps”) or by deleting them from within the App.
- Google’s handling of your Google account and Drive service is governed by Google’s own privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- The App’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. Advertising
The free version of the App may display advertisements provided by third-party services.
These third-party providers may automatically collect certain technical information, including but not limited to:
- Device information
- Advertising identifiers
- IP address
- Usage data
Such data collection is performed by the third-party providers under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control and are not responsible for how third parties collect, use, or process data.
The Premium version of the App does not display advertisements by us or any third-party services.

5. Children’s Use
The App is intended for a general audience and may be used by children.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from users, including children. Any data processing performed by third-party services is outside of our control and responsibility.
6. Data Deletion
We do not store user data on our servers.
Any data generated within the App remains on your device and may be removed by:
- Uninstalling the App
- Clearing application data via device settings
- Deleting Google Drive backups via Drive’s “Manage apps” settings or from within the App (Premium, if backups were enabled)
We do not provide data deletion services, as we do not possess user data.
7. Data Security
We do not process or store user data on our systems. The security of data stored on your device depends on your device and operating system.
8. International Use
The App is operated from Finland. By using the App, you understand that applicable laws may vary depending on your location.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy at any time without prior notice. The updated version will be published with a revised effective date.
